A Reminder…

Posted on Updated on

Okay so I just had  reminder of why I could never be a nurse. My mom just got out of the hospital today from a surgery she had on her back yesterday. Every time I help her with something or she moves, it scares the living crap outta me. I assume shes gonna fall or twist at the wrong angle, or bust a staple by just her lifting a finger. Now you can probably imagine how I felt when her back was bleeding and I had to change her dressing. I just couldn’t do it. I really wanted to pass out or just walk away. You fuck faces should have seen me, I was seriously pale. So yeahh, I would not be the nurse to have.

-Jay c:

P.S. I appreciate everything the medical field offers us and all that they do for us, because I will never again dress a wound. Better hope you never get injured around me…..because then you’re on your own.

My Favorite Children’s Movies -Glittr

Posted on Updated on

Kids get some pretty badass movies. They’re so cute sometimes I find myself more into them than my 4-year old cousin. So, without further ado, here’s my top ten. Don’t judge me :).

10. Tinker Bell

I saw this when my little cousin borrowed some movies from the library. I actually got really hooked on it. It was so much fun learning about Tink before she was the Tink we grew up with. Shush, I said don’t judge me :).

9. Shrek

It’s really funny and actually has a lot of adult humor in it. The cast is also phenomenal, including Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphey.

8. Puss in Boots

This movie is so funny to me. It has a lot of cuteness and it’s really funny 🙂

7. Aladdin

Aladin is a great Disney movie from my generation. I really love Princess Jasmine, she’s pretty badass. (Go read my blog on Disney’s Bad Bitches)

6. Despicable Me

This movie is so cute! The minions are freakin awesome man :).

5.The Nightmare Before Christmas

Cult classic I suppose. You just have to love this Tim Burton Masterpiece.

4.How to Train Your Dragon

I looove this movie. It was so cute and I actually found myself really emotionally attached. Like when the dad was being a jerk I actually felt my emotions bein all stirred up.

3. Rise of the Guardians

This is a bad ass movie. Before watching it I thought it was a stupid chrismas movie, but after watching it with my little cousin, I think I was more into it than her.

2. Finding Nemo

If you haven’t seen this movie, get your life together. Enough said.

1. The Lion King

One of my all-time favorite movies. I literally know this movie almost word for word. I grew up on this movie so of course I love it.

Sooooooo….what are some of your favorite kids movies? Feel free to comment or tweet us @TheAnonymoUS_4 🙂

Top 10 Movies to Watch High

Posted on Updated on

My list of the best movies to watch stoned.
10.Donnie Darko

image

This movie is one big wtf. You can never  understand what the hells going on sober, muchless high. And then you got this scary ass lookin bunny poppin out of nowhere. Obvious to see why this is the perfect high movie.

9.Anything Tim Burton

image

Seriously, any Tim Burton movie is fantastic high. Burton is known for his amazing picture and eccentric costumes.

8.Half Baked

image

A guy gets arrested feeding a diabetic cop horse sweets, need I say more?

7.Repo! The Genetic Opera

image

Hella trippy movie, tons  of trippy moments that will have you questioning if this is really what’s happening or you’re just that blazed.

6.Alice in Wonderland

image

Obvious choice. I’m still convinced Lewis Carroll was on some sort of substance when writing this trippy ass story. This movie has almost no plot.

5.Pineapple Express

image

Funny as hell high and twice as funny when you’re high. Then again I find all of Seth Rogan’s work absolutely hilarious.

4.Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle

image

One of my favorite movies. I think we can all relate to their stoner quest for the perfect meal. I know I get the munchies big time when on stoned. Word of advice, have some snackies on hand if you choose to watch this while lighting up.

3. Grandma’s Boy

image

Typical slacker we can relate to. Great movie high. It will have you rolling…literally.

2.Zombieland

image

Some  have difficulty understanding why you would go on an epic quest for twinkies when the world is turned to shit, but when you’re high you understand perfectly. Not to mention tons of funny parts in this movie.

1.Lone Ranger

image

This is just one big what the fuck is going on. The movie is fairly serious, then the scene randomly flashes to cannibal bunnies or a horse getting drunk. Seriously?! Alot of shit in this movie will just have you asking “Is this for real, or am I really that blowed?”

What’s on your stoner watch list? I’d love to hear from you.

Glittr’s Top 10 Book Series Recommendations

Posted on Updated on

Most of these are fantasy fiction or scie-fi type books, just a heads up.

10. The Morganville Vampires

Her new roommates don’t show many signs of life. But they’ll have Claire’s back when the town’s deepest secrets come crawling out, hungry for fresh blood.

9. Strange Angels

In Strange Angels, Dru Anderson has what her grandmother called “the touch.” (Comes in handy when you’re traveling from town to town with your dad, hunting ghosts, suckers, wulfen, and the occasional zombie.) Then her dad turns up dead—but still walking—and Dru knows she’s next. Even worse, she’s got two guys hungry for her affections, and they’re not about to let the fiercely independent Dru go it alone. Will Dru discover just how special she really is before coming face-to-fang with whatever—or whoever— is hunting her?

8. The Vampire Diaries

Elena: the golden girl, the leader, the one who can have any boy she wants.Stefan: brooding and mysterious, he seems to be the only one who can resist Elena, even as he struggles to protect her from the horrors that haunt his past.Damon: sexy, dangerous, and driven by an urge for revenge against Stefan, the brother who betrayed him. 6. Gregor the Overlander

This strange world is on the brink of war, and Gregor’s arrival is no accident. A prophecy foretells that Gregor has a role to play in the Underland’s uncertain future. Gregor embarks on a dangerous adventure that will change both him and the Underland forever.

 5. Ranger’s Apprentice

They have always scared him in the past—the Rangers, with their dark cloaksand shadowy ways. The villagers believe the Rangers practice magic that makes them invisible to ordinary people. And now 15-year-old Will, always small for his age, has been chosen as a Ranger’s apprentice. What he doesn’t yet realize is that the Rangers are the protectors of the kingdom. Highly trained in the skills of battle and surveillance, they fight the battles before the battles reach the people. And as Will is about to learn, there is a large battle brewing. The exiled Morgarath, Lord of the Mountains of Rain and Night, is gathering his forces for an attack on the kingdom. This time, he will not be denied. . . .

4. Maximum Ride

In James Patterson’s blockbuster series, fourteen-year-old Maximum Ride, better known as Max, knows what it’s like to soar above the world. She and all the members of the “flock”–Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman and Angel–are just like ordinary kids–only they have wings and can fly. It may seem like a dream come true to some, but their lives can morph into a living nightmare at any time…like when Angel, the youngest member of the flock, is kidnapped and taken back to the “School” where she and the others were experimented on by a crew of wack jobs. Her friends brave a journey to blazing hot Death Valley, CA, to save Angel, but soon enough, they find themselves in yet another nightmare–this one involving fighting off the half-human, half-wolf “Erasers” in New York City. Whether in the treetops of Central Park or in the bowels of the Manhattan subway system, Max and her adopted family take the ride of their lives. Along the way Max discovers from her old friend and father-figure Jeb–now her betrayed and greatest enemy–that her purpose is save the world–but can she?

3. Game of Thrones

Long ago, in a time forgotten, a preternatural event threw the seasons out of balance. In a land where summers can last decades and winters a lifetime, trouble is brewing. The cold is returning, and in the frozen wastes to the north of Winterfell, sinister and supernatural forces are massing beyond the kingdom’s protective Wall. At the center of the conflict lie the Starks of Winterfell, a family as harsh and unyielding as the land they were born to. Sweeping from a land of brutal cold to a distant summertime kingdom of epicurean plenty, here is a tale of lords and ladies, soldiers and sorcerers, assassins and bastards, who come together in a time of grim omens.

2. The Immortals

True love never dies in Alyson Noel’s extraordinary paranormal series featuring Immortal teens. The books follow Ever Bloom and Damen Auguste’s epic romance as they travel through eternity to be together forever. These two soul mates are thwarted at every turn by jealous rivals, evil ex-girlfriends, enemies at school and even their own weaknesses. But through it all, they never lose sight of their ultimate goal—to spend eternity together.  But will fate ever give them the chance?

 1. The Mortal Instruments

When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder—much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. And she’s more than a little startled when the body disappears into thin air. Soon Clary is introduced to the world of the Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of warriors dedicated to driving demons out of our world and back to their own. And Clary is introduced with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is almost killed by a grotesque monster. How could a mere human survive such an attack and kill a demon? The Shadowhunters would like to know…
