Jay’s Favs: Movies!

Posted on Updated on

Hey guys! I decided to post my top 5 favorite movies! This is really hard!

5. Star Trek 2009!
-This movie is amazing! Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine have such an amazing bromance (even though in this movie, Spock and Kirk do not). If you have not seen it, its a great modern day twist on a 60’s classic c:

4. The Dark Knight Rises!
-Catwoman alone steals the movie! Anne Hathaway is a sexy, sleek, and all around badass in the movie! Then you have Christian Bale as Batman! (Best.Batman.Ever.) Then Joseph Gordan-Levitt’s surprise reveal as Robin! And last but not least, Tom Hardy as our badass villain Bane!

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secret Of The Ooze!
-Who doesn’t love these 4 sewer turtles! I mean they are turtles, who eat pizza like crazy, and are ninjas….its like….awesome, wrapped in a layer of bacon, then deep fried on epic meal time! Michelangelo happens to be my favorite (I have a Michelangelo shot glass I just adore) due to his ridiculous use of the word ‘dude’ and his ‘blonde moments’…..which happens to be every moment…

2. Star Wars
-All 6 of them! These classics are some of my favorite movies. Han Solo, Chewbacca, R2-D2, and Yoda are only a hand full of my favorite fictional characters! Then the villains such as Darth Vader and the Sith Lord Darth Maul are possibly my favorite villains of all time! (Next to of course Heath Ledgers The Joker).

1. Star Trek Into Darkness
-This movie blew my mind. First you have the newcomer Benedict Cumberbatch with his amazing portrayal of the villainess Khan, then my husband Chris Pine and his role as everyone’s favorite starship captain, James T. Kirk, then our favorite Vulcan Spock portrayed by Zachary Quinto, along with the doctor everyone wishes they could have Lenord McCoy (or Bones) who is played by the hot Aussie Karl Urban , and the rest of the loveable crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise (Scotty [Simon Pegg], Uhura [Zoey Saldana], Chekov [Anton Yelchin] , and Sulu [John Cho]). The movies plot line was so well thought out and initially flawless. The acting was seriously over the top and again…flawless…Benedict Cumberbatch (also known as Sherlock Holmes) is probably the breakout star of this film. He stole the screen every chance he got. If you haven’t seen this movie, its definitely a have-to-see. Even if you’re not a trekkie, this movie will not seize to entertain
